Lectures

Marcia Tucker's lecture topics range from discussions of contemporary art, artists, and institutions ("Out of Bounds: Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Contemporary Art"; "As the Art World Turns" and "Why Art Matters") to discussions of feminism in the arts ("Bad, Badder, Baddest: Reflections on Feminism and Contemporary Art") to a 50 minute stand-up routine about the arts today ("Marcia Tucker Live!). Each lecture is uniquely formulated for a specific venue.

She has lectured at over 100 institutions and colleges in the U.S. and abroad, including Yale University, Vassar College, Columbia University, Rhode Island School of Design, New York University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Wellesley College, The Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, the San Francisco Museum of Art, and the Metropolitan Museum, and organizations in Japan, France, Switzerland, Israel and Spain.
